Who are Wray & Co?

We are a Traditional Same Family Business since 1887. Now in our 6th Generation we serve Plymouth and the South Hams with our 2 shops in Plymouth and Kingsbridge. Over the 137 years we have been in business we specialise in Antique & Pre-Loved Jewellery with a large selection of Modern Jewellery. Accompanying this we have an extensive range of Silver Jewellery with a few brands of watches as well. We also provide a range of services such as Jewellery Repairs, Watch Battery replacements and Valuations for Insurance & Probate.

What do you sell?

We specialise in and have large ranges of Antique & Pre-Loved Jewellery, Modern Jewellery. We also stock an extensive range of Silver Jewellery with a few brands of watches as well. 

What is good about Pre-Loved Jewellery?

Pre-Loved Jewellery is a fantastic option for many reasons. Depending on the age and style, you can un-earth unique gems at a fraction of today's prices. Pre-Loved Jewellery is also a sustainable option, re-using an piece and giving it a new lease of life.

Do you guarantee Pre-Loved Jewellery?

Yes. Any item of Jewellery, Pre-Loved or New, is issued with a 12 month guarantee from the date of purchase or receipt (which ever is later). 

What condition is your Jewellery in?

Anything we sell has to be in excellent condition, we accept no less than this. We have built a fantastic reputation on high quality jewellery and will not just anything go into our window or online. We pride ourselves in offering high quality jewellery at great prices.

How often do you add Jewellery?

We do not have set times when we add to our inventory throughout the year.

What payments do you accept?

We accept most card types in store and online. We can accept Bank Transfer and Cheques (both have to clear before any item can leave the premises).

Do you have Layaway plans?

Yes. We offer a Layaway plan in-stores only. Layaway plans are available interest free for 3 months. If you have seen an item that you would like to put on a Layaway plan, please contact us here.

Can you hold items to view in person?

Yes, we can put an item aside with no obligation to purchase. If you have seen an item that you would like to put on a Layaway plan, please contact us here.

Can you adjust items?

Yes, most items are adjustable but every ring is different. Please contact us to speak about the item you would like to adjust by contacting us here.

What services do you provide?

We offer Jewellery Repairs, Watch Battery & Strap Replacements, Valuations for Insurance & Probate purposes and Gold & Silver Jewellery purchasing. 

Can you provide valuations for items purchased?

Yes we can. Items we often sell need a higher replacement value, therefore we are more than happy to provide a fair and true valuation for the item that you have purchased. 


This service is also available for items that are not purchased from us.
